30A Songwriters Festival

As I have mentioned before, my mother owns a cafe in Dallas, Texas. They serve lovely coffee beverages in the AM and delicious local beers and wines in the PM. It also happens to be one of the best live music spots in the city! And although I am biased, almost every major local publication seems to agree with me. If you are ever in the city, you have to check it out!

My mother had the brilliant idea of taking a family trip to Seaside, Florida for the 9th annual 30A Songwriters Festival so that we can all experience and explore music together.

If you are anything like me, you might not have heard of this festival before! It is called 30A because it takes place at over 20+ venues up and down the 30A highway. Some places are set up for music and others are converted for the weekend. Some venues are large and others very intimate. The mixture of young artists and veterans of the industry was so unique and fun. It is a festival that truly seems to care about the art of songwriting and celebrating musicians.

Have I mentioned how beautiful it is?

It is also a lot of fun!

If you love music, and want to see some amazing musicians, check it out!
